The pathway to a little lake in one of the forest preserves towards Woodstock. I know its a cliche pic of fall, but the picture really didn't do justice in portraying its vibrancy and beauty. My goal when I took this picture was to get a shot of a couple of deer I have seen on this path two times now. I am always unprepared to get the shot, though, and they get startled and take off as I round the corner. This time, I was prepared, but alas, no deer today.
