Go deep
Even though I know where this road leads to(it's someone's driveway), you get the feeling its taking you deep,deep into the woods. I think how nice it would be to come home from work each night and drive this path to your home tucked away, out of sight. On a side note, my daughter and I are taking an overnighter to the Galena, Illinois area this next week to do some shooting while she's on spring break. If anyone knows of some picturesque places, feel free to leave me a comment. It's appreciated.

Your pictures make Illinois look like one of the most beautiful places on earth to visit! This is another one I want to hang on my wall once we get a more permanent place!

ReplyDeleteHave you ever been the the Apple River area. I believe it's a bit northeast of Galina.And, going south there are the Mississippi Palisades and there's a spot (whose name escapes me right now) where you cross The River where there's more Heron nests than you can shake a lens at. I'll try to find the spot and pass it on to you later today.
I believe the "Heron Nesting Area" is by Fulton Illinois when you cross the bridge over the Mississippi. (On the north side)
